Moving a house or flat? Tell us about your furniture, boxes and access at both properties. Include your preferred date and whether you need packing assistance alongside the move.

Business and commercial removals

Planning a workplace move? Share the furniture and equipment involved, access arrangements and timing requirements. Packing and unpacking

Share the details of the job

For a move, provide both postcodes, your preferred date and a summary of the belongings. Tell us about stairs, lifts, parking and any difficult access at either property.

For clearance, provide the collection postcode, the items involved and where they are located. Photographs can help explain the amount and access.

Discuss the quote and arrangements

Before booking, check the included work, agreed dates and applicable terms. Ask about anything that is unclear, including additional services or changes to your plans.

Your date is secured with a 10% deposit, and we confirm every booking in writing by email or message.

What affects your quote?

For removals, the amount being moved, journey, property access and requested services all matter. Packing assistance, storage and additional agreed work can affect the scope.

For clearance, the type and amount of material, its location and collection access are important. Describe the items before booking so suitability can be confirmed.

When comparing quotations, check that they cover the same work. A quote for transport alone is different from one that also includes packing or storage.

Magnus Removals has been trading for four years and has completed work for more than 3,000 customers. We provide domestic and commercial removals, packing, storage, long-distance and European moves, warehouse relocation and goods transport. What information do I need for a quote?

How much will my move or clearance cost?

The price depends on the work involved. Removals are affected by inventory, distance, access and requested services; clearance also depends on the type and amount of material. Can I request packing and storage with my move?

Yes. Include these requirements when you enquire. Explain what needs packing, the likely storage period and whether your final delivery date is known. Check that each requested service is included in the agreed quotation.

Can I enquire before my moving date is confirmed?

Yes. Mark the date as provisional and give us the details you already know. An enquiry alone does not reserve a date; your booking is confirmed once the 10% deposit is received.

Do you offer urgent or weekend appointments?

Yes. Same-day and urgent bookings are available, subject to availability, and we work from 7 AM to 10 PM every day, including weekends. Any additional charge is confirmed in your quote. Call 020 8050 9189 with your job details.

Are my belongings insured?

Yes. Magnus Removals is fully insured, including Public Liability and Goods in Transit cover, with a £500 excess. Items packed by our team are fully covered, boxes you pack yourself are covered if they are packed safely, and belongings in our storage are covered too. Cover is subject to the terms and limits of our policy. If anything is damaged, tell us as soon as possible, ideally within 24 to 48 hours.

What happens if I need to change or cancel a booking?

Let us know as early as possible. Charges may apply for late cancellations or changes, so tell us as soon as your plans move. If keys are delayed on the day, reasonable waiting time is not normally charged, although significant delays may be.
