Luton van transport with a driver
This is a driver-inclusive service, not self-drive van hire. Our driver collects, transports and delivers your goods, and helps with loading and unloading. You can book one person with the van, or a two-person team for heavier or awkward loads.
We use different van sizes depending on the job, including Luton vans for bulky loads. If you are not sure whether your goods will fit, send a list with approximate dimensions and a few photos, and we will confirm the right vehicle before you book.
Loading, access and delivery arrangements
- Loading help: our driver helps load and unload. Book a two-person team for heavy items or several flights of stairs.
- Ground floor or upstairs: tell us where the goods are at collection and where they should be placed at delivery.
- Parking and loading bays: tell us about parking restrictions, loading bays and gates. Customers arrange any parking permits or suspensions, and we can advise on what is needed.
- Packaging: goods should be packed and protected for transport. Packing materials can be supplied if needed, with any cost confirmed in your quote.
- Recipient availability: make sure someone is at the delivery address to receive the goods, and give us their contact details when you book.
Hazardous or illegal items, gas bottles, flammable substances, certain paints or chemicals, explosives and perishable goods cannot be carried. Discuss valuable or unusual items with us before booking.
How to book goods transport

We confirm the vehicle size, the team size and access at both ends.
3. Receive your quote
Quotes are free and no-obligation, and every quote states whether VAT is included.
4. Confirm the booking
A 10% deposit secures the date, and we send written confirmation of the collection and delivery arrangements by email or message.
What affects the transport quote?
- the distance between the collection and delivery addresses;
- the vehicle size, volume and weight of the load;
- whether you need one person or a two-person team;
- access at both ends: stairs, lifts, carrying distances and parking;
- any waiting time, and the timing you need, including evenings and weekends.
Each goods delivery is quoted for the job. For smaller loads, our man and van service starts from £60 per hour with a minimum booking of 2 hours. Any additional charge for evenings or weekends is confirmed in your quote before you book.

Magnus Removals is based at Unit 1, Eskdale Road, Uxbridge, UB8 2RT. We regularly collect and deliver across London and the South East, and handle long-distance routes across the UK and to Europe. Send both postcodes and we will confirm the route, the vehicle and availability for your delivery.
If goods cannot be delivered straight away, we can hold them in our own secure storage until the delivery address is ready.

Yes. Every goods transport booking includes a driver. This is not self-drive van hire.

Can you transport bulky goods?
We can move most large and heavy items, subject to safe access and suitable equipment. For exceptionally heavy or specialist items, send details or photos so we can confirm before booking.
Are goods insured in transit?
Yes. We are fully insured, including Public Liability and Goods in Transit cover, with a £500 excess, subject to the terms and limits of our policy. Report any damage as soon as possible, ideally within 24 to 48 hours.

What if I am moving a whole home or business?
