Can I pack some belongings myself?
Yes. Tell us which belongings you will pack and which you want help with. Boxes you pack yourself are covered by our insurance if they are packed safely.
What happens if my new property is not ready?
We can keep your belongings in our own secure storage, booked weekly or monthly, and deliver them when you are ready. There is no fixed notice period for redelivery.
Can you dismantle furniture?
Yes. We dismantle and reassemble beds, wardrobes and other suitable furniture when required. Any additional charge is included or agreed in your quote before the job.

What should stay out of the removal load?
Keep keys, medication, essential documents and items you need during the move with you. For safety reasons we do not move hazardous or illegal items, gas bottles, flammable substances, certain paints or chemicals, explosives or perishable goods; discuss valuable or unusual items before booking.
How do I know my moving date is booked?
Your booking is confirmed once we receive the 10% deposit, and we then send written confirmation by email or message. An enquiry or quote on its own does not reserve the date.
Are my belongings insured?
Yes. Magnus Removals is fully insured, including Public Liability and Goods in Transit cover, with a £500 excess. Items packed by our team are fully covered, boxes you pack yourself are covered if they are packed safely, and belongings in our storage are covered too. Cover is subject to the terms and limits of our policy. If anything is damaged, tell us as soon as possible, ideally within 24 to 48 hours.
